So how does it work?

The intelligent back-up/recovery technology in the Reborn Card stores an image of your operating system and applications in dedicated partitions on the PC’s hard drive. When the computer is re-booted, all original settings are invoked, and the computer is “reborn”.

Intelligent Backup/Recovery Technology

Radically increase the speed of backup and recovery. “Instant” Recovery works automatically, by simply re-booting the computer. Works on all Windows operating systems.

“Back-up” Recovery works for all other operating systems, but requires simple manual intervention, either at the desktop PC or using the remote control network function. (Max-Control)

Data files can also be recovered using separate partitions, however changes in data files since the last re-image would be lost.

Ease of installation

Installing the Reborn Card is very easy. Simply plug the Reborn PCI-MAX Card into one of your computer's PCI expansion slots, insert your installation diskette and follow the instructions that appear on your screen when you restart.

Remote Network control

The management of computers with Reborn Cards installed is made simple with the use of the MaxControl/User software. Create groups, wake-up pc’s on the LAN(WOL card only), re-boot, restore and perform all the required functions from your system administrators PC.

No hitches

Tried and tested, the Reborn Card will not affect the computer's compatibility, or stability regardless of the operating system you are using.

CMOS Automatic Recovery

Some poorly written software or even computer users can change computer CMOS settings resulting in abnormal operation of the PC. Reborn Card can protect you from this risk. If there are changes to CMOS at boot, it will automatically notify you and activate the appropriate recovery process.

Swapping hard drives

If you have two or more hard disks in removable drawers for quick swapping, you can repeat the installation and backup procedure for each disk, protecting all your hard disk drives with the Reborn Card. Hard Disk Duplication Reborn Card provides an intelligent hard disk duplication function. This allows you to perform from one to seven synchronized copies.
