How would it effect your organisation if you could cut desktop support time in half?

As system administrators know, there are many ways the proper operation of a desktop computer can be effected. Problems with the operating system resulting in a system crash, improper software installations, incomplete Windows shutdown, a virus attack, users “inadvertently” deleting files or formatting the hard disk and the list goes on.
Result: support staff spending an inordinate amount of time re-imaging hard drives or fixing problems.
